About Us

Dance Marathon at San Diego State University is a year-long philanthropic effort benefiting the patients and families at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Every February, we celebrate a year’s worth of effort to raise both financial and emotional support for the patients treated at Rady Children’s Hospital. Since our first event in 2015, we’ve fundraised over $2.6 million to help provide critical care and services for children and their families.
Despite the name, Dance Marathon does not require the ability to dance! While some dancers teach a fun and simple dance throughout the event, there are games, music, and performances from patients at Rady. Above all, miracle families share their stories and experiences from their time at Rady’s, reminding us of the differences made in their lives from our support.

Dance Marathon at SDSU empowers student leaders to unite the campus and greater San Diego community in a shared philanthropic effort, raising funds and awareness for Rady Children’s Hospital. From coast to classroom, we unite Aztecs to support pediatric healthcare through leadership, fundraising, and service, creating a legacy of compassion and impact that lasts far beyond campus.
