Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is the region’s leading pediatric medical center, serving families across San Diego, Imperial, and southern Riverside counties. Rady Children’s cares for patients from birth through age 18, and also treats a limited number of adults with specific conditions that require its specialized expertise. The hospital’s exceptional team includes nearly 1,000 physicians and 1,500 nurses, supported by more than 5,100 employees, around 500 active volunteers, and over 1,200 dedicated Auxiliary members.

Dance Marathon at SDSU is proud to be part of Dance Marathon, one of over 400+ programs across the United States supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). Since the movement began in 1991, Dance Marathon programs nationwide have collectively raised more than $400 million, 100% of which has been used to help provide life-saving care for kids. Dance Marathon is a powerful student-led movement that unites college, university, and high school students across North America. Throughout the year, students involved in their campus’ Dance Marathon gain valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and nonprofit operations—all while raising funds and awareness for their local CMN Hospital. CMN hospitals depend on donations and community support, as government funding and insurance programs don’t fully cover the cost of care. Through the collective efforts of fundraising partners, programs, and passionate students, CMN Hospitals continues its mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
